This outdoor haven also boasts a versatile grill, ready for gas or charcoal cooking, and a comfortable seating area. The cupboards are stocked with an array of dishes, catering to every occasion, whether you prefer casual snacking or a grand dinner at the spacious dining room table. Unwind and dine in seclusion with the unique feature of the dining room – two concealed Murphy doors that can be effortlessly slid out, providing an intimate setting. Your furry companions are more than welcome, with the home thoughtfully prepared with pet bowls, toys, blankets, and bedding. We've got you covered, but we kindly request you return the favor and clean up after them. While this home is set on 18 picturesque acres, please note that the field is often used for farming or home to horses, cows, and other livestock, so we kindly ask you to avoid this area during those times. Additionally, the dirt road next to the field belongs to the neighbor, so please steer clear. The Colorado wilderness surrounds you, offering glimpses of deer, skunks, foxes, owls, and even the potential for bears and mountain lions. As you explore the local area, your safety is of utmost importance, so please venture with care and respect for the natural inhabitants of this captivating landscape.
This place was perfect for the 3 small families staying here on an MTB vacation. The kitchen was the most equipped kitchen ever with high quality kitchen supplies. We cooked dinner there every night. The home was beautiful. The beds were comfy. The yard was great- we had a fire in the fire pit one night and an easter egg hunt for the kids on Easter. Everybody kept saying that this was the best airbnb they have ever been to. (For reference, we just took a cross country trip and stayed at 6 different places including this place.)
The centennial house was beautiful! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and the bedrooms and bathrooms were pristine. We had such a wonderful time there! We would definitely recommend it
One of my favorite AirBNB stays yet! The home is charming--details like woodwork that appear to be original, yet updated perfectly to make for a very comfortable stay. It seemed Tamara had thought of everything we might need yet the home did not feel cluttered with anything we didn't. The large walk-in closet off the master made a lovely 7th bedroom for our toddler. Despite being 100+ years old the home feels quite spacious, even the closets! The spacious yard, fire pit and storage shed were all wonderful. Tamara really made our stay with the time she took to answer our questions about local trails. I can't believe we have driven past Fruita so many times and have been missing out on the spectacular views and trails! All in all a perfect stay and I hope to stay here again!
