Lovely older home, responsive host and was really accommodating. Few little hiccups due to being an older home but was comfortable and was a great location

Rutherglen is a lovely town to visit with lots to do and experience for wine lovers. We were looking forward to our stay in The Little Blue Cottage however we were disappointed with one bedroom door not closing, the beeping of the smoke detector which had a flat battery and the hard mattress in the main bedroom, mouse droppings on the kitchen bench, gaps in window screens and the unfortunate timing of noisy drainage and road works on two sides of the property (and next to our parked car) which commenced each morning @ 7am. The Cottage was clean when we arrived and the shower was great but we didn’t appreciate the bathroom location requiring all users had to use via the main bedroom (acknowledging it was in the cottage description).

Our family of four were very comfortable in Alexandra’s cottage. Was a great space for us all to relax and the kids to play, both inside and outside in the huge backyard! The cottage was extremely clean, with gorgeous views to the outside through amazingly large windows! Alexandra left a lovely bottle of red wine and sourdough for us to enjoy and great recommendations for a bite to eat all within walking distance.. There was a bit of road noise from trucks going past but this did not inhibit a restful night! Would recommend this stay for a lovely family getaway in a beautiful quaint town! Thank you for having us!

Older home in great location, very clean and tidy. A little noisy of night with constant trucks and traffic passing by which did affect our sleep but mostly as we are not used to it. Plenty of parking and close to Main Street with a very well known wine producer/ restaurant across road. Lovely extras of wine, bread and coffee were very appreciated. Met our needs for our two night stopover
