Spacious, bright, and clean private 1 BHK in a secure residential housing society, just outside the hustle and bustle of old town, yet within easy reach of the temples, ideal for visitors who come to Vrindavan for a retreat, on a pilgrimage, or for a weekend getaway. This is the newly-launched ground floor apartment of Raas Homestay that I have been running successfully for close to two years. Note: the area is prone to power cuts and our inverter doesn't support AC's/ geysers/ fridge. This is a one bedroom private apartment on the ground floor with an attached bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed which can comfortably sleep two. Moreover, we can provide extra mattresses/ bedding upon request. There is a huge living/dining space which can be used for doing yoga, or for general unwinding. In addition to this, there's a kitchen equipped with all your basic cooking gear, including an oven, a small fridge, and a washing machine, a common washroom attached to the living area, and a small temple for private devotions. We have an inverter that ensures up to 12 hours of power backup that would meet your basic power needs of lighting, fans, charging, and wifi. Please note that none of the heavy appliances like ACs, geysers, or refrigerator are supported by the inverter. Although the power-cuts are somewhat frequent in Vrindavan, they usually only last for a couple of minutes at a time. Parking: There's ample street parking available directly in front of the house. We're in a gated society so security is not an issue. Home-cooked meals can be provided upon prior request and at a nominal fee, payable directly to the caretakers. **** We have curated the space with a lot of love and thought, taking pains to source our material from local industries and craftsmen from nearby places such as Khurja (pottery), Ferozabad (glassware) and Moradabad (brassware), limiting the use of plastics as much as possible and it is our constant endeavour to make it more comfortable for our guests. We even have a little organic garden on the terrace where we grow some seasonal vegetables. The house is managed by an attentive local family who have inherited our love for creativity and detail. They would look after your needs and are very handy with practical information about the places to visit, temple timings, transportation, and ordering food and groceries etc.
