Bathurst Farm was a very special place to stay for my sisters wedding in Franschhoek. The house is pristine and the gardens are perfect, especially for my football obsessed 7yr old and his friends. Tymon, Nascient and Ramwal are incredible at making your stay stress free and Tymon is especially wonderful around the house and with the kids. The stay was perfect for our family - from our 7yr old son to 94yr old dad. A huge thanks to Nicolas and her family for letting us use this wonderful house 🙏

We were a group of 14 split between two houses. Bathurst was enormous , beautifully decorated and in the most gorgeous setting. A truly wonderful stay. The toddlers and adults loved the pool and the trampoline. Also, the hens, sheep and pigs in an enclosure were a big bonus for the kids. We couldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else.

Het huis dat op een enorm stuk grond ligt, omringd met dieren en een mooie tuin, ligt tevens prachtig tegen de bergen aan. Door de vele glazen puien zie je de bergen overal in het huis. Ook voelt binnen als buiten. Het huis is modern en alles klopt. Alles slaapkamers liggen op de bagane grond en zijn goed afgeloten van de living. Tymon en de staf, die super vriendelijk zijn maken het volledig na je zin. Hij houdt alles goed schoon en heeft zelfs soms ons zoontje van 20 maanden vermaakt. Het enige nadeel van het huis is dat je eigenlijk de hele dag thuis wil blijven :)

Our stay at Bathurst was fantastic. We were two families with toddlers and it was the perfect place to be. The house was beautifully designed and pristine. There is an abundance of activities and vineyards to explore in the area and Nicola couldn’t have been more helpful. A particular shout out to Tymon and the staff who went above and beyond to be helpful. I couldn’t recommend Bathurst highly enough and would love to visit again in the future.

We recently stayed for a number of weeks at this stunning home. We planned the trip nearly a year in advance and because it was a longer stay with two small children we had many many questions from booking stage right through to planning our stay nearer our arrival time and also while we were onsite - Nicola was always more than kind and helpful to me. The staff in the house are fabulous, fun kind and take such good care of this wonderful property. The home and wider property are exactly as described in the photos. The views are 360 stunning and the feel of the place is even nicer in real life. The house feels very relaxed and homely while also being so well finished it feels like a hotel at times. We were treated to the most gorgeous homeware, bedding etc etc during our stay which made it all the more special. We can’t recommend this place more and thank Nicola and the staff hugely for our stay.
