Had a small issue at check in managed immediately by Denise she was very helpful. On Thanksgiving there was a volatile situation with the people in the cabin next to us, there were probably 10 people in the cabin and violence and drinking occurred. There is no cell reception and the host was not available due to the holiday… we had to leave immediately which cut our stay short. This was not something the host could control, but there needs to be a way to contact someone or law enforcement in situations like this. Airbnb needs to fully background people for situations just like we experienced. We were not compensated for the switch in cabin from check in and loss of additional day or the day we lost due to the incident and us having to leave early. Overall the cabin was absolutely beautiful! The host was very sweet and the location also very beautiful!
