Home was beautiful and a great escspe. Owner was very responsive, resourceful, and communicative as well as accommodating. place is great for pets as the deck is completely closed off. not to mention the deck wraps around the entire home. huge home with so much around to do. very close to everything. me and my husband can not wait it to come back

We had a wonderful time exploring the area. The home is in a great location to check out Bushkill Falls and other attractions in the Stroudsburg area. Our host was prompt and provided clear instructions for everything. We would come back without hesitation.

It was a nice place to stay and Eugene was helpful but it had some issues the place was clean but some of the basic maintenance was not taken care of smoke detectors didn’t work and fire extinguisher was empty, some of the tiles were falling out by the fire place and kitchen, a fan upstairs didn’t work, there wasn’t a trash can in the kitchen, and there was mold around the house

Place was wonderful to stay at for a weekend getaway, kids loved the home so did I!! Host is very kind and a fast responder when in need of anything!!

We visited Eugene's place for a long weekend of snowboarding. When we arrived, the parking area/walkway was covered in snow from a storm 2 days prior. We had to shovel ourselves. It snowed while we were there. There was no salt. The temperature outside was unusually cold. There is baseboard heat in all of the rooms and a split unit in the living room but without burning a fire, the house stayed cold. There were only small pots, no baking sheets, and no colander in the kitchen. When we first used the microwave, it wouldn't heat. It worked sporadically. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom, does not close tight so water runs all over the floor while showering. There is no trashcan in the kitchen (you have to take your trash with you). The ski area on the community was great but it wasn't clear if we had access. I provided feedback to Eugene privately and he argued with my findings. He said that he pays $1000's of dollars to heat the house and you're not renting a hotel room.
