From the property's hilltop location, which commands a view across miles of North Devon coastline, Woolacombe beach is a 10 minute walk downhill. The return journey depends on how fit you're feeling, although there is a bus service which drops off 100 yards from the front door! Inside the apartment, the living room forms a focal point for entertainment on days in. Lounge around on the armchairs or sofa and play your music on the iPod dock, or settle down in front of the TV, log into Netflix or your iPlayer account to catch the shows you can't live without or pop a DVD on. Free wi-fi means you can catch up with entertainment or friends online while you enjoy your break. The living room leads out to a patio (sometimes called our breakfast room) where you can enjoy the view across miles of coastline from the picnic table. The local restaurants offer excellent dining choices. There are fantastic dine-in options, traditional fish and chips, amazing curry on the beach and takeaway if you fancy eating on the patio but not having to cook - you are on holiday after all! The location is quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the main facilities of larger towns such as Ilfracombe and Braunton. The apartment enjoys easy access to all amenities, including a local shop just a 3-minute walk away. For those looking to enjoy watersports the area has incredible beaches for surfing, body boarding, sea kayaking and kite surfing. From Ilfracombe you can also enjoy boat trips to Lundy Island or sea safaris. Away from the beaches there are several centres for outdoor activities such as climbing and horse riding. For those interested walking or running the coastal path is hard to beat with incredible routes accessible straight from the apartment. If you enjoy your running and fancy a challenge Woolacombe is home to a 5k park run over the dunes and beach.
