The cottage is beautifully refurbished and more spacious than photos. It is very comfortable and Gargrave is a lovely village with excellent walks. We have had a very good time. However personal communication with owners was poor, always generic, never replied to personal requests eg beds made king-size and no logs provided as promised. Individual hosts would have replied.

could have offered some small toiletries, and there was no sugar to go with the tea and coffee?, we did find a malteaser wrapper under one of the soafa's, otherwise a nice little spot, would use it again.

Cottage was ideal for our needs and having a tiled entrance hall was great with a dog, loved the free standing bath and log burner. Gargrave itself is such a friendly village, handy to have a local shop and the canal walk to Skipton (approx 5 miles) was really good and easy walking. Malham is not far in the car and again brilliant walking with stunning views.

Lovely small cottage in a great location in the centre of Gargrave, which is clean, newly refurbished, furnished and equipped to a high standard. Gargrave is a nice village easy to get to with all necessary amenities (3 good pubs, an Indian restaurant, fish shop and a Co-op store very close by.) plus a canal and the river and plenty of walks from the village or within easy reach as you would expect. The hosts provided treats for us and our dog which was appreciated. Free, safe parking is available on the street or in nearby car parks. There is only a very small yard and the cottage does not get much sun, which is a shame. That said we had a great week and would recommend. Regards Paul R
