We had a lovely time at the Astronomers hut, very relaxing and peaceful with lovely views.
We had a really lovely stay. The shepherd’s hut was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well designed. Items in the veggie breakfast hamper were really tasty & easily lasted for our three night stay. Beautiful, peaceful location. We were able to spot some stars from the hot tub & enjoyed watching the new born lambs. Would definitely recommend this place & hope to return.
We had the most amazing time at the astronomers hut. The hut was beautifully decorated, lots of fire wood provided for the wood burner, BBQ & hot tub, the hosts were excellent, the app was great to be able to add additional extras on such as a late checkout. The surrounds are so incredibly beautiful, peaceful & relaxing. Having no TV was great, there are games provided plus the hot tub to star gaze from. We were lucky enough that we got to see a lamb on the farm that had just been born & trying to stand for the first time, just absolutely magical, thank you James. The hut had everything we needed for a cosy & relaxing little weekend getaway. Thank you Tracy & James for a wonderful stay & will be returning!
Amazing place and will be going back. Best break ive had in a ling time. Great to have hosts near if you need but also they let you get on with your holiday

The Hardy Way is a journey through quaint villages and some of the most unspoilt parts of this beautiful county, extending for over 220 miles.

Our family have been passionate about the environment for years . It led us to build our Eco home over 10 years ago. It was pioneering in its use of passive solar in the UK at the time. Something we are pleased to say is becoming better understood today. We have taken this same concern into our development of every aspect of the farm. We have since owning our farm in 1998 planted over 2,000 trees on it. All the electricity used on the farm comes from renewable sources. This is either from our own solar PV cells or from our green electricity supplier. Needless to say our feelings for the environment were key in our design right from the start of our glamping business here in beautiful Dorset.
