Stayed for a few days with my mum and sister whilst visiting my granny. We know Beaminster well but this was our first stay at Blackbird Cottage. The cottage is lovely and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the evening. The church bells do chime through the night which my sister heard on the first night although this didn't disturb our sleep for the rest of the stay. We were worried we might not be able to park outside the house but we were lucky and managed to park both cars on the street outside rather than having to use the car park away from the cottage. Susan's guide was really useful in providing information about the cottage and things to do in the area.

Beautiful and very comfortable home to stay in with everything we needed in the house and nearby. Susan was very helpful and responsive and we felt welcomed, which I really valued. Everyone enjoyed a lovely stay and would like to return 😄

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Blackbird Cottage. Especially liked the woodburning stove in the cosy sitting room. Very comfortable beds. The garden was beautiful, even in a chilly February. Always found somewhere to park in the lanes around the cottage, with just a short walk. The church bells, rather than being a problem were an added bonus. Loved staying in this lovely cottage in a great part of Beaminster, near all the amenities and shops.
