A lovely private, peaceful country bolt hole but close to Winchester, where we we could easily visit a relative in hospital. Everything as described, and helpful instructions from the host with an easy check in. Comfortable bed and lovely, contemporary kitchen and bathroom. Easy access to Bishops Waltham for groceries and cafes and would make an excellent base for exploring the wider area and getting your walking boots on. We really appreciated having a washing machine! Perfect for a relaxing getaway.

James was really helpful when I contacted him. I pointed out I was disabled but could get around a bit. James sent me photos of the steps without me even asking. He responded quickly and was always friendly. The place was clean, tidy and exactly as advertised. Had a lovely time and because it was so lovely we spent a lot of time in there just watching tv and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean and luxurious. It is right in the countryside, which is lovely, but it does limit what you can do without a fairly long drive. This was what we wanted so not a criticism but to make others aware. It is also something that is obvious if you look on a map. I think the only negative (and a small one) was just that no supplies e.g. milk, butter were left. Might be worth calling it out so that people know to do a shop beforehand! We weren’t sure what to buy on our way.

It was really nice and quiet. A peaceful retreat away from the city. Thoughtfully decorated with all the amenities for a comfortable stay.

This is a lovely open plan space, and very comfortable. Walks outside the door, and easy access by car to nearby villages and towns. A good base. Thank you.
