Great place to stay when visiting Lake Tahoe

Had a very relaxing stay with no headaches. Loved this cabin, loved the responsiveness of the owner. He even gave a weather warning as we were driving in. Everything we were hoping for! Looking forward to coming back again!

My family felt right at home at Stephen’s place. The layout was perfect and as described, the beds were comfortable, and we had enough supplies. Instructions were easy and checkout procedures weren’t obtrusive. WiFi worked great - held several video meetings with no issues. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed walking our pups. We would not say that the lake is walkable for families with younger children, but that shouldn’t be a concern for anyone because it’s a pretty great drive to anywhere we wanted to go - and we really went all around the lake. There were a few issues we noted and communicated to Stephen and he always responded so quickly and nicely - I am sure he will take care of anything noted. We appreciated his recommendations on nearby restaurants which were terrific. When we come back to Lake Tahoe, we’d love to stay here again. It snowed lightly our first night there and it was really so magical. Thanks so much for a lovely week, Stephen and family!

What an incredible weekend! I see why this house is called “Tahomie”—it was cozy and spacious. It has a very comfortable layout with living, kitchen, dining and outdoor deck all central in the home and openly connected for an easy flow. I also liked privacy that all of the bedroom options provided for us all. Another generous feature is the garage access; it was so nice to just pull in each evening to unload the car. (The garage was extremely clean and spacious! Not what you might expect from a mountain cabin’s garage). The hosts were fantastic! Super responsive and friendly. I had to make a last minute change to my reservation, and Steve was responsive and accommodating in helping me sort out the adjustments. I appreciate how easy he made things. Lastly, what a great location! It’s far enough from the lake that it’s quiet and peaceful. But it’s close enough to walk down to coffee, local market and a great dinner spot. I couldn’t have had a better weekend here at Tahomie!
