This adventurous little hideaway will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed & more alive. Enjoy watching birds, squirrels, rabbits and butterflies play off the front & back decks. Start your day with a morning walk in the forest through Ward Creek Park. In summer months, enjoy the private backyard with corn hole, hammocks, outdoor dining & a fire table. During winter indulge in a soothing warm soak in the hot tub and cozy up next to the fire inside. Once the sun goes down, have fun with a variety of board games and all the tools you need to make a delicious cocktail after a day full of adventure. You’ll have the A-Frame to yourselves, 3 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, 1 3/4 bathroom (bath tub but no shower), fenced in backyard, propane bbq etc. We provide all of these extra touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible: - We only provide organic sensitive skin products (EO, Puracy & honest only!) - Heated floors in bathroom/shower - Free Wifi & Netflix - 55” OLED Smart Samsung TV - Bluetooth surround sound system for music & movies - Black out shades in downstairs bedroom only. Pros: beautifully decorated and high quality A-frame, convenient location, responsive hosts, great amenities Highly recommend 720 Sugar Pine! Location is convenient to Palisades and Alpine, as well as the beach. Quiet location with easy parking for 2 cars. The cabin itself was very clean, beautifully decorated, and the hosts were very easy to work with. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped and each room was very comfortable… heated bathroom floors! Overall, highly recommended!
Carter and Shelby are incredible hosts, and their place is very well designed to anticipate every guest’s needs. Sugar Pine Speakeasy is spotless, with a fully stocked kitchen and custom-made amenities that give it boutique feel. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a great experience, with curated recommendations of activities and places to eat, hikes, maps — down to the last detail. We spent a weekend here and their guidance made our stay that much more enjoyable, and everything is easily accessible from this location. I loved photographing the night sky from the Speakeasy, and spotted a fair number of constellations from the patio. We’ve been to Tahoe multiple times and had never had an experience quite like this. Would definitely recommend, and we’ll be coming back!
This house is a 10/10! Quintessential Tahoe A frame, completely updated to have all the modern conveniences and amenities. The decor is super cute - feels like a boho luxury hotel (One Hotels, etc). We even wondered if the hosts had professional hospitality 🏨 experience - it was that good. The house was sparkling clean 🧼 and the beds 🛌 were very comfortable. Carter and Shelby had great coffee ☕️ , spices, etc for us and even left us cookies 🍪 and other personal touches. Our kids loved the hot tub. The house has a great layout and was perfect for a family weekend. We skied ⛷️ at Homewood which is about 5 minutes down the road. And last but not least Carter and Shelby were great communicators and very flexible and accommodating from start to finish. We hope to visit again - this is our dream Tahoe home. 🏠
Carter & Shelby we’re absolutely amazing hosts! Their Airbnb was beautiful and will hold a special place in our hearts. I had reached out about proposing to my girlfriend the day of our check in and they made our stay extra special!
We had a wonderful stay at Carter & Shelby’s house. We loved how tastefully designed and decorated the house was, with beautiful attention to details throughout the house. Carter and Shelby were always available to answer any questions we had. We skied at Homewood, one of our all time favorite little ski resorts, and had a great hike up to Eagle Rock one day, both were only 5 mins drive from the house. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

The Timberland neighborhood offers the best of both worlds— serenity and peace in nature while still being extremely close to all the best amenities. It is directly off Ward Creek Park with countless hiking and mountain biking trails (both easy and challenging) right in the immediate neighborhood. There is also a bike/walking path on the main road that leads you to beaches, Sunnyside restaurant, Spoon restaurant, West Shore Market, Tahoe City, Chambers Landing and much more. Below are some of the best attractions in the area:

- 2 minute drive to Sunnyside Marina
- 5 minute drive to Homewood Ski Resort
- 7 minute drive to downtown Tahoe City
- 10 minute drive to Chambers Landing (Tahoe’s oldest waterfront bar)

- 20 minute drive to Palisades Ski Resort (home of 1960 Olympics)
A car is needed in Tahoe, we recommend 4 wheel drive in the winter months & be sure to pack a car shovel & ice/snow brush for your car. If you need to get a ride around town, download tart connect app for free transit 8am-12pm
