Unfortunately the beauty of this hotel was over looked due to all the faulty/broken items, the lack of upkeep and bad food! The food was expensive! $17 for kids chips and nuggets, drink and ice cream The nuggets were Dino nuggets, a handful of chips, a pop top and a selection from 2 ice blocks that were like lemonade or a rainbow one. The breakfast buffet was terrible. Hash browns were pasta to gems, sausages were burnt and inedible, bacon was almost raw and the eggs were the only decent thing. We had water leaking through our bathroom roof - staff couldn’t move us to another room because they couldn’t access their internet. Our tv wouldn’t work. They gave us multiple remotes but we told them it won’t work if they’re not synced. They stated they were unable to help and didn’t offer to move us. The pool was covered in algae, gym broken/faulty equipment. This place would be amazing if money was spent on it. Staff were kind but couldn’t do much in their roles.

Reception was warm and professional, and we found our room easily. The room was a little older but very comfortable with all the appliaces you would expect, all in great working condition. One of the beds and the bathroom were a little less clean than we'd anticipated with some stains on the bed head and throw, and the bathroom had a few sticky spots and black drips on the walls. Unfortunately, the hot water didn't work in our room, so we had lukewarm showers that evening (possibly due to using the shower during a peak time for hot water, though not sure since we showered at different times with the same result).
