My wife and I had the perfect getaway at Morel Cottage. We hope to be back soon! The place is beautiful, exactly like it looks in the pictures. Very cozy. So well designed. Clean and stylish. Wonderful location. The forest is peaceful and pristine. Easy day trip to Traverse City. Hosts were responsive. Directions were thorough. Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Morel Cottage felt like a winter fairy tale. My husband planned this trip for my birthday. We stayed there from the 21st of March to the 24th of March and felt nestled amidst the snowy woods. This charming retreat provided the perfect sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We spent our days wrapped in the tranquility of nature, playing board games, putting together jigsaw puzzles, immersing ourselves in the stories of their book collection and talking hours on end reconnecting with each other. We brought our own cooking supplies and made use of their utensils to make hearty meals. The beautiful starlit skies, the quietness of nature where you could hear the flapping wings of the birds added to the beauty of the place. Morel Cottage isn't just a place to stay – it's a haven for soulful rejuvenation and cherished memories. We truly enjoyed our stay!
