A wonderful place and location. So quiet and peaceful and the view is amazing. A great and secure garden for the dogs to just run free and sit out in. Although you are next door to the host you wouldn’t know it and you can just crack on with your holiday. Can’t recommend this place enough. You are only a 10 min drive from Thirsk should you need any bits and bobs and are quite central to all the local attractions. The only down side to the palace is no kitchen to cook in but there is a bbq outside and it’s nothing a camping stove didn’t solve. We were greeted by Alison upon arrival and after our introduction we were left to just get on with it and couldn’t rate the barn and location enough. Thank you Alison for an amazing break and we will be back.

Perfect little break, plenty of room, even with two dogs! we would love to go back in summer. The bbq is really easy to use as the bag of coal provided is an instant light one.

Lovely cosy barn. We felt at home the minute we stepped foot inside. We had our 4 month old with us and dog - it was the perfect break for some down time. Alison was super helpful. We’d love to stay again
