Caroline and Phil have a truly wonderful house where we stayed. The little touches they have given the place along the little welcome pack and hand written note made us feel the love and effort they put into making your stay feel as comfortable as possible. It truly felt like a home away from home. On top of that they are both so warm, understanding, and accommodating. They were quick to respond to any queries or requests we had. Highly reccommend all who are considering staying in the Lakes area as the village is very beautiful and peaceful as well as not too far from the main lakes.

We had a fantastic, though short-lived, stay at Caroline’s place—but we wish we would have stayed longer! It was a wonderful space with lots of amenities (a stocked kitchen, lovely fireplace, and blankets galore). We stayed here to climb Scafell Pike, and it was not too far away and a great, warm place to come back to after a day of adventure. A highlight: the beautifully manicured back garden, where we enjoyed our morning teas. Thank you especially to Caroline for staying up to greet us upon check-in, and for leaving us goodies to indulge in. All in all, fantastic —thanks for everything!

Beautiful cottage in stunning surroundings Everything was as described and spotlessly clean Perfect location for us attending a wedding at Holesfoot Gorgeous open fire in the living room was a highlight Hosts were so friendly, helpful and responsive. We would highly recommend a stay here Thank you

Very responsive hosts and extremely friendly. The place is quite rural and would have been difficult to find but the directions were excellent. Would recommended using what3words for ease. Left nice touches such as milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine. Very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here last year, had to come back! Lovely place as always, Caroline and Phil are both amazing and looked after us. Hope to see you guys again soon!
