Second time visiting. Enjoyed the cabin and nature around it. Had everything we needed for a weekend of cooking and family. I plan on going back next year. The host is very hospitable.

This house was great and well described/photographed. It has three bedrooms. Beds were comfy, kitchen and grill worked great. We loved the sauna and fire pit. There were a lot of different fun activities and boating equipment provided. Not too far from Grand Rapids which had great restaurants and an interesting museum. Even in early Sept the lake was swimmable. We agreed we'd definitely stay again. The only things I want to call out to be aware of--the path to the beach is VERY steep. Especially if it's rainy I can imagine it not being doable for the elderly, infirm, or some kids. It was fine for just going up and down to swim but if you wanted to bring much down there it would have been a pain. Though there is a cleaning fee, you are required to do quite a bit of cleanup, more than most airbnbs I have stayed at (vacuuming!). Not a problem for us but just FYI.

Gorgeous home and grounds. Husband and I spent a quick weekend to see if the Chalet will work for us when we come with our family of 12 people next summer. 2024 If I may suggest, another refrigerator would be helpful. Also wish the lake access was easier. We love to fish at night. The steepness to and from the lake was hard to maneuver easily for us elders. I'm sure the younger kids will have less trouble. Otherwise, very, very nice, comfortable place. Happy to have been able to meet with Jon and Carolyn (owners). They seem to have thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. Much appreciated. I'm sure the kids will enjoy it more. So many games and such available to keep the kids occupied. Yet still a quiet, secluded area for the adults to enjoy. Lovely.

The chalet was impeccable. Very clean and well stocked with anything you might need (including a wide array of indoor and outdoor games and books), with few exceptions, as described . The property and home are lovely. The lake is absolutely beautiful. The owners were very respectful, responsive and adaptable. We booked the property for three weeks, late August and enjoyed both the dog days of summer and early days of leaves changing. It could not have been a better reprieve from city life and I would heartily recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful lake home. We comfortably had up to seven guests but could have easily accommodated more. The bunkhouse adds an extra bathroom, which is nice. A previous guest mentioned the walk to and from the lake is a bit steep. I would agree it’s something to consider for some folks but we had no problem with the short trek to and from the lake. Highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely vacation.

Everything was as described. We loved all the water toys, swimming from the dock and the calm of the cove.
