"Shore Thing" on Johnson Lake has everything you need and more! Sip your drink of choice and watch the sunrise while listening to the loons sing. The daily activities will keep you busy and by the time the evening falls, you'll be ready to relax by the large bonfire and roast s'mores. The cabin is a two bedroom 1.5 bath with kitchen and living room, enclosed porch and deck. Detached bunkhouse is steps away from the cabin Bedrooms in the cabin have a queen size bed with all linens included. They also have a built in dresser. Fully stocked kitchen with basic dishes, cooking utensils, small appliances like coffee pot, toaster, microwave, blender and crockpot. You can enjoy your meals at the kitchen table, porch, deck or the oversized picnic table over looking the lake. Living room has large sectional couch with big screen tv and roku. If tv is not your thing you can look out and take in the sights of the lake. The porch is a unique place to unwind and play games or relax on the sofa, read a book or take a nap if that's your thing! Bunkhouse is located on the back side of the garage and only steps away from the cabin. You will be able to wake up to the peacefulness of the lake, sunrise and loons singing. Inside the bunkhouse is a bunkbed with a queen bed on the bottom and twin on the top, full size bed and pull out couch. All linens are included. The front yard is large enough to get a game of kickball going or play a classic game of croquet, capture the flag or night games for the kids. Bring your floaties and sand toys because our beach is a perfect place for it. Child life jackets are not included so please bring them with you. Two kayaks are included with your stay with two XL adult life jackets. Please bring your own beach towels. We have a charcoal grill and grilling utensils available for you. Charcoal and lighter fluid are not included. If you need firewood that can be provided for you at a cost or the convenience store down the road sells it. Pet Policy Please include your pet on your reservation. We charge a pet fee, however, it does not cover any extra cleaning of extreme shedding, damage to property or yard clean up. You are responsible to clean up after your dog and please do not allow your dog on the furniture. Be mindful of your dog swimming and then entering the cabin or bunk house. You'll need to bring your own towel to dry them off. We also ask that your dog is never left alone, also bring a tie out or leash for your dog as needed.
