Great host. He regularly checked in regarding my needs and had a quick response time. The property was maintained and was clean. I recommend this host.

I stayed at the Solar camp for nearly two months. I was quite comfortable throughout my stay and rarely felt like I was roughing it in any way though I can see that some might. It was a rather comfortable heated ice fishing tent inside a larger sort of pavilion tent I guess. The outer tent can get pretty cold or warm but the sleeping tent is fairly easy to maintain at a decent enough temperature. It can get cold the way the heater is set but hey it’s a tent. It started getting warm out while I was there and I brought a box fan in the tent and that actually kept it very comfy for me. I am a fan of caves and fans blowing in my face. I find them both comforting and honestly I was pretty happy about that. It is pretty dark in it without the light and on and some mornings I slept past sunrise and it didn’t matter as it was basically blacked out. Also the fan drowns out all of the neighborhood noise. There was just enough of a kitchen to cook very simple meals which was plenty for me. To be frank there were some internet difficulties while I was there. Bandwidth lacking made streaming my video classes impossible and the data cap was hit and it caused some problems for me in a few ways but I did a bit of research and Comcast had decided to screw over their customers nationwide and added a 1990’s level data cap. I had to go elsewhere and spend a bunch of money to do some important internet use elsewhere but hey I guess it’s a tent. Anyway I have a feeling this will get sorted out and a modern internet plan may come into play. I certainly hope so. I just mention it so that if these aspects of internet are super important to you than you know. Dave was quite friendly and regularly checked in to see if I needed anything. All in all if I were to be in the area again for a few weeks I would definitely stay at his place.
