Great house for big groups, with a regency style, very classy. We had a wonderful weekend , a ladies reunion where we cooked, played games and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The house is very private and has a beautiful dining room we particularly enjoyed. There was so much to entertain us we didn’t step beyond the garden all weekend. The house was also very responsive and helpful and even bought us champagne flutes .

Disappointing due to overall cleanliness. Although the furniture had been polished, there was noticeable thick dust on the majority of skirtings and under the bed , bed also had a collection of cups and other detritus, left by previous guests. In the kitchen, the horrible smell from the fridge was really unpleasant and the kitchen sink looked grubby too. Peeling wallpaper, cobwebs everywhere. To top it off, we encountered an infestation of ladybirds, in my 80 year old mum’s room, they were crawling all over the inside of the window and flying around the room.Leak in utility room, promptly fixed and they also came with a small hand held hoover to address the issue of the ladybirds. Cleared for a few hours, after which they came back.Black mould in the bathrooms and on pool ceiling.Such a shame as the bones of the house were lovely with some beautiful original features. Enjoyed the pool. For future guests, accurate description of true state of house and reflecting this by reducing cost.

We had an amazing stay at Higham Grange, the house is bigger than I expected and there was so much space for everyone to enjoy. It was warm in the house, the kitchen is well equipped and very enjoyable to cook in. The house is truly special and I would stay there again, unfortunately one big issue was the pool water wasn't heated. It was 23 degrees (I had a thermometer with me) and we couldn't enjoy it (in the middle of November), which is a shame as it was one of the features that made us book this Airbnb in the first place. Anthony was responsive on that issue and sent an electrician but it appears there was a problem with the heating system of the pool and the problem wasn't fixed during the 4 days we were there unfortunately. Overall I don't regret staying there as we had an amazing time in the beautiful house, Ron the caretaker was also very nice, we really enjoyed but it would have been amazing if we could have used the swimming pool as advertised, and as included in the price.

I want to thank Anthony for hosting me and my family. We all really enjoyed the place and the swimming pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped for us, the place is very spacious with enough toilets and bathrooms for us all. The pool room was a great touch as we all got involved in playing a few matches. So much for us all to do, we hope you wil host us again, thank you Anthony.
