The 3 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor of a fully-furnished home that is a ~10-minute drive to Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, and Palisades. There are hiking and backcountry ski trails accessible from the house. If you're looking to relax, we have a hot tub! My husband, our dog and I live downstairs. We have the master bedroom & 2nd living room. We share the kitchen, and enjoy good company! We are looking to rent out the bedrooms on February to April 2024. Guests will have 2 driveway parking spaces. Please enjoy the home like your own during your stay. You have complete reign over the upstairs, but you might run into us moving around the kitchen every now and then for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and you’re welcome to join us! If you ever want your privacy, we can easily just head downstairs to the separate living room. We work remotely at home (downstairs) from Monday to Friday, so we are frequently around if you need anything. In case you're allergic, we do have a brown Border Collie mix dog named Buko. He is excitable but very friendly. We are allergic to cats, so no cats. Sorry! We already included the transient occupancy tax fees on the listed price:) We have bike & ski racks for your gear in the house and can provide advice on places to go.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at Tim and Psyche's place during our ski trip to Lake Tahoe. Tim and Psyches were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We also ended up falling in love with their amazing dog Buko. The place is super close to both Alpine Meadows and Palisades ski areas. It was also spotless and well furnished. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we ski Lake Tahoe. Thanks again!
We stayed at Tim’s place with a group of friends and loved it. The hot tub was super nice after a day of skiing, and both Tim and Psyche were amazing hosts and gave us plenty of recommendations on where to ski in Palisades!
Very quiet and beautiful location. The place itself is very large and living room has amazing fireplace. Host is very accommodating and nice. Was always ready to help or respond to our questions! Highly recommend to stay at this place especially during winter.

Great Airbnb next to Alpine. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a nice hot tub. The shared kitchen meant we got to spend a lot of time with Tim and Psyche, who were both super nice and tried not to disturb us. Would highly recommend for those who are ok sharing a space and want a killer location.

Wintertime:
Please avoid parking on the road. There is a cool free shuttle service that will pick you up at the house and drive you to the resort on weekends. (You just need to download the "Mountaineer" app).
If you're looking for a local breakfast spot or fine dining, then we have Crest Cafe and River Ranch that are 5 minutes away. Otherwise, you're looking at 20 minutes to Truckee and 10 minutes to Tahoe City for more options. Check out our guidebook for local recommendations (or reach out for questions!).
