From the beginning of our booking to the end of our stay, our host was available, friendly and very informative. Her instructions on her beautiful property were complete and concise. We were there for Thanksgiving week and the home was outfitted with every conceivable kitchen and household item needed to prepare and serve a feast. The table and other seating was perfect for a large family. The home is dog friendly as well and our grand dog enjoyed the ample space to roam. All of the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and very clean. Additionally, the state park is very close by with wonderful trails, a playground and a picturesque beach area. Finekettle is homey and comfortable inside and outside. The lakeview is simply phenomenal and our host had kayaks, life preservers, a gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating on a very spacious deck. We could not have been more pleased with our host, the accommodations and location. We certainly hope to return in the future.

This house was gorgeous inside and out. Beautiful mountain and lake views outside, and a very homey charm inside. Lots of space for everyone with an extended living room, game room, and a downstairs sitting room. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity came up!

Finekettle is a treasure! Coming back for a second year, we felt like we were coming home. The house is incredibly comfortable and full of warmth and history. The layout and furnishings in the home are perfect for 12 people to gather together or find their own little nook. Elizabeth is an extraordinary host who really cares about the experience that her guests have. The boat house is full of water toys to make any lake vacation super special. The expansive deck and lovely screen porch make sitting around just enjoying the lake incredibly enjoyable. My family is excited to book our 3rd stay in 2024!

We had a wonderful week at Elizabeth’s family lake home! The view and surroundings are even more stunning than the pictures represent. Having rented a boat and toured around SML while we were there, we can definitely confirm that Elizabeth’s place is one of the most picturesque and private spots on the lake. The home has a very nostalgic feeling as if you’re staying in your family’s cozy lakeside retreat. We had so much fun on the kayaks and paddle board in the very calm and quiet cove. And Elizabeth was wildly responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Elizabeth's home. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our week. The house itself is large and all of the bedrooms are big. There was plenty of room for all 4 of us and our dogs. The nice and quiet cove where the house is located allowed us to enjoy both the kayaks and the paddle board at any time of the day, which isn't always the case depending on where you're located on the lake. We're looking forward to staying there again soon. Thanks Tina
