约翰岛(Johns Island) · 整套平房 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住3人 · Home-private deep water dock near Angel Oak Tree
The home is a one story house- no steps. The location is ideal because the following are: Angel Oak Tree- 2 mins. The only Tea Plantation in the USA- 15 min. Downtown Charleston_ 20 mins. Kiawah/SeaBrook and Folly beaches( for surfers)- 30 min. Chaleston International Airport- 20 min. Magnolia Plantation- @ 20 m CVS, library, gas station, restaurants, breweries, medical facility, Blackbird Market- 5 mins. There are some top notch restaurants within ten minutes distance. The house is situated on 2.9 acres with only one neighbor. It is well furnished with tasteful paintings and a piano. There are huge windows and glass doors with stunning water views. Dolphins that swim on their way to Wadmalaw sound can often be seen . They like to swim in groups close to the dock. The indoor porch is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the abundance of wild life- birds , squirrels, butterflies and even a rather shy bobcat. There are flower beds with roses, lilies and herbs . The idyll surroundings engulf you with a sense of peace and tranquility both inside and outside the house. There are many historical and interesting places to visit . Johns island has some incredible places to experience the tasty dishes of the Low country. You can also stay home and explore the intercostal waterways using the kayaks provided . Best of all there are two large floaters and a covered dock that makes rainy days irrelevant.
Jacqueline’s house was simply marvelous! It was clean, well stocked, beautifully furnished and designed, and very comfortable. We spent a lot of time at the end of her dock enjoying the fantastic views of the riverside . I wish we could have stayed longer!
Exactly what we were looking for and the description matched perfectly. Great scenery and loved the easy access to water. Jacqueline was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely pay for this spot again!
My wife and I stayed with our dog for a month. The location of the house is awesome. Great water views, tons of birds and other wildlife. The house was comfortable and spacious. It was our first time to Johns Island and it is a fabulous place to visit. The live oaks with all the Spanish moss, the locals, the restaurants and food, and the natural beauty is worth the trip. We had a great time and Jacqueline was a gracious host, who is very responsive and lives nearby, if you needed anything. Already thinking of when we’ll be back.
We had a wonderful long stay in this most gracious and well appointed home. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, everything necessary for a comfortable stay was provided, in the kitchen and the bedrooms. It was delightful to be so close to the Angel Oak, a long time favorite place to visit, and the Charleston County parks are excellent: especially Caw Caw, Beachwalker Park, and the Stono River park. You are well advised to be on the porch in the early morning to watch the sunlight come across the creek to the marshes on the other side, and then at sunset to watch the sky show. Highly recommended!
The vast property across the water behind the house is in permanent conservation. The same applies to the property in front of the house across Maybank Highway. The land belonging to the house extends to the Wadmalaw bridge and is wooded . Consequently, there is only one neighbor rendering the property both safe and secluded.
There is really no good reliable public transportation
自我介绍
I am a nurse practitioner who owns and runs a Rural Health Clinic on Johns Island. I now consider this my home as I have lived here for about 15 years with my husband and four children. This still surprises me as I grew up in Charlottesville , Va. As a matter of fact, I am an alumnus of the University of Virginia. We put frequent trips there as we have very close family and a farm at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
