This is such a special property in a very tranquil location. Lovely views from all the windows. The house layout works well for a large group. The living/ kitchen /dining ares is just perfect for celebrating together. The heating works well and we didn’t need the wood I brought with me despite it being cold at night 1-2 degrees. Good communication too. Very comfortable beds and everyone said they slept well. All in all great for a large gathering.

Fantastic place to stay for a relaxing weekend. Spent 40th birthday celebrations with nine friends. Be mindful of the cow field they were not very welcoming!

we had such a great time staying here, as a group of 13 women. the property is gorgeous and in beautiful surroundings, and we loved being able to sit together at the big outdoor table as well as using the indoor spaces. It felt like a really special getaway and I know the whole group would recommend without a hesitation.

This house is amazing! Honestly better than the pictures, it is in such a beautiful area, just plonked into the middle of nature, right by a river bank- it is really spectacular. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for all 12 of us. We had a really special time here- The outside space is also incredible- in summer the table outside would be epic!! We did have a few issues with some of the facilities- most crucially there was no hot water for the entirety of our stay! Since we left it has been resolved; and David gave us a generous partial refund, but I will flag that his comms on this were a little less urgent than I think was necessary- it was ok for us and we made it work, but if you were disabled, or had a toddler, it could of been really problematic, and I'm not sure David fully stepped up to help. Also less crucial but did scarper our tiramisu plan- was that non of the blenders worked! Still; I wouldn't hesitate to book this epic house! I think we just got unlucky.

David's place was perhaps even more beautiful than the pics. He was responsive on messages even in the evening. Thank you for the unforgettable weekend!
