Hi! My place is located just opposite to the famous 'Patwa Ki Haveli' is a heavens for travelers. The view of the Fort and the Patwa ki Haveli is amazing but it is something that will leave you spellbound and asking for more. This home of mine, a building designed on the lines of a Traditional Haveli, is a great place for you to soak up the historic vibe of the whole city yet be in complete comfort in the Luxury of the room inside. The Place: This house where you will be living during your stay boasts of an expansive rooftop with the views of the 'Patwaon Ki Haveli' and the Jaisalmer Fort. The house has been designed keeping in mind the Traditional Rajasthani Theme in mind and thus the house is quite airy along with being spacious as well. The place is not only serene but also has an amazing aesthetic feel to it. You can Sit, Relax & Soak in the environment while watching the city from the rooftop The Room: The bed here is a King-size bed and the mattress is comfortable and great for a rejuvenating sleep. Also, keep in mind that this room is on the 1st floor and it is accessible through a staircase. The room also has a "Jharokha" which stands for a Traditional window overlooking the street outside (every house in the medieval times used to have a 'Jharokha'). The room has seating for two people along with a desk and also the 2 windows overlooking the street in front. A stay here will not only rejuvenate you but also enthrall you with the sheer beauty of the city. The area: My place is situated opposite to the 'Patwa ki Haveli' which is of high Historical significance to the Jaisalmer city. These Havelis used to belong to the rich merchants and the Traders of Jaisalmer who had their Trade relations extending to the Afghanistan Border in the early 1900's. These are 5 Havelis located together as the owners of these were 5 brothers who were involved in one trade or the other. A walk of 25 meters from the main entrance of the 'The Patwaon Ki Haveli' reaches you to my place. The Royal Cenotaphs (Called the "Bada Bagh") & the abandoned villages of "Kuldhara" & "Khaba" which are not only a major tourist attractions but also have a big historical importance to Jaislamer are located between 5-15kms of vicinity from here. Also, the train station & the bus stand are a 10 mins driving distance from here.
