Luis was a very good host. Answered all our questions promptly, even when he was on vacation. We had a couple of minor issues and he addressed them right away. The location of the apartment was fabulous, close to everything! The apartment was quirky, in a nice way, and after a couple of days we felt right at home. It is on the 2nd floor and the stairs are a little challenging at first, but that is to be expected in an older building. Good apartment if you are working remotely as it has a desk and great internet. Would definitely recommended this place if you are looking for a longer stay in Barcelona. Thanks Luis for taking good care of us.

My husband and I had a wonderful month-long stay in Luis' place. We had everything we could possibly need for comfortable stay, plus a few helpful extras - two radiators and a small heating fan, toiletries, a stocked basic pantry, etc. There are some realities about being in the area to be aware of : there is fantastic areas to some wonderful shops, restaurants, and bars, and consequently, it can be a little noisy on Friday and weekend nights. The walking paths are also washed between midnight and dawn, so something to be mindful of, if you're a light sleeper. But all-in-all, couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at for a month in Barcelona.

We stayed for a month in the lovely El Born apartment. Luis was quick to communicate and very helpful. The apartment is spacious and in an excellent location, right near all the main attractions of the old city of Barcelona. It's surprisingly quiet after the restaurants have closed for the evening and the mornings in particular are very quiet in the surrounding lanes. The apartment is in an old building and like all these old inner city European apartments they have their quirks, there are stairs to climb of course, around 40, and there's not a lot of light penetrates into the apartment, it can be quite gloomy inside even on a bright and sunny day. The plumbing and cooking facilities come with their own quirks as well, but nothing major and Luis is great at explaining the systems. We have a great stay and highly recommend.

We enjoyed our month in Luis’s Gothic Quarter apartment. Every early morning was a peaceful walk to a gym, bakery , and fresh market. Afternoons were with the masses of tourist to museums, beaches, cathedrals, shops, restaurants, and cafes. The location is fantastic. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathroom and bedding met our expectations. We would return again.
