Just spent a peaceful 4 days in The Stables, with its lovely view across the open fields. Also a few steps away from Napton bottom lock, and a stone's throw from The Folly at Napton. A beautiful little cottage, it was the perfect bolt hole to 'get away from it all' and had everything I expected, plus a walk in shower and dishwasher that weren't expected but were very welcome. Nigel had thought of everything, there were even books and games on the shelf, plus maps and local guides. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom all helped me feel right at home, and I enjoyed easy pleasant walks along side the canal, as well as cosy downtime in the evenings. Wifi excellent, Tesco at Southam and also the local village store is not far away. Napton is a good base for exploring the surrounding area. All in all, an excellent stay and I hope to return again at some point. Thanks Nigel. Catherine xxx

The cottage was a really lovely place to stay. Perfect for a couple of nights whilst having Christmas with our family.

Nigel's place was even better than expected. Especially cosy and Christmassy at this time of the year. Generously equipped and full of character. Nigel's communications and availability were just right....responsive without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful few days. Nigel was very helpful the stables . Are very clean and peaceful. Local pubs good . The potting shed really good . Great walks for the dog .

Nigel was quick to respond to queries and the accommodation itself was lovely and cosy. Being right on the canal made for great walks and the neighbours (sheep and horses) were lovely to look out to!
