This semi detached villa is located within the luxury resort of Dunas Douradas. It features a heated pool with a kids section and a modern sun sail in its private patio that boasts all day sun exposure and nature views. PLEASE DO NOT SEND BOOKING REQUESTS WITHOUT CHECKING AVAILABLE CHANGEOVER DATES Even if dates show as available we do have restrictions since we line up bookings. The bright living space inside includes an open living-dining area, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. This Villa is located at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac in the luxury resort of Dunas Douradas, between the world renowned Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, in central Algarve. The Villa backs straight onto the Pine Trees and therefore affords beautiful views and privacy - a privilege enjoyed by only a few houses in the resort, which will make your stay a truly relaxing experience. A 5-10 minute walk takes you to nearby Garrao beach, its beach front restaurants and the ocean. The pinewood surroundings can be enjoyed from the South facing living room, the deck beside the private pool and BBQ area, or from the first floor balcony window. The Dunas Douradas clubhouse with its bar, restaurant, large communal pool, tennis courts and mini market is a one minute walk away. Europe's finest golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo are just a 5 minute drive away, as are other activities such as horse riding, watersports, go karting, cinema, shopping, bars, restaurants and water parks to name a few. THE VILLA This villa is ideal for a family with children or a couple wanting to get away from it all without being isolated. The south-facing outside terrace offers the ideal space for relaxing in the sun or dining al fresco, with a large pool that includes a kids section and a safety fence for your children’s safety. A large sun shade, sun loungers, a dining table, and a BBQ round off the outdoor experience of the villa. In the inside, it offers a living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and lounge area. The living area features a wood-burning fireplace, cable TV, DVD, Bluetooth soundbar and wireless internet. Sliding doors (with childrens locks) provide access to the private outside. The ground floor bedroom features twin beds, a wardrobe and sliding doors to the outside. It has its own adjacent luxury refurbished walk-in shower room. The first floor master double bedroom with ensuite full bathroom features a double bed, wardrobe and beautiful views over the pine trees beyond. The bedrooms do not have a shared wall, which makes this villa a great option for two couples sharing and/or holidays with children. BABY PACKAGE We offer a free baby package, consisting of the following items, on request: - Highchair - Travel cot - Stair gate - Baby bath For babies under two we additionally can supply a blender to prepare babyfoods and microwave steriliser. Both packages are supplied by us free of charge! GUEST COMFORT - An inbuilt safe for your valuables is installed. * The property is air conditioned throughout. The use of the units is available to guests who require these extra facilities, but carries an extra cost of 150 Euros per week during the summer months of June, July, August and September. ** Pool heating and safety fence are optional and charged extra at 190 and 150 Euros per week respectively. Please see rental rules, 10 day prebooking required. REMOTE WORKING All our villas have fibre internet and we can provide an extra table to give you more work surface. If there is something else you need to make your remote working more comfortable, please enquire. SECURITY CAMERAS For our property's and guests' security, all our villas are equipped with two security cameras monitoring property boundaries: the front door, and the back patio gates and walls.

I've stayed in at least 50 Air BNBs. I've never had a host so kind, thoughtful, and giving. Ever. everything was perfect.
We had such a wonderful time here. We stayed for 5 nights with our 3 young children. We paid extra for the pool heating and fence and it made the holiday for us, knowing our children were safe and could enjoy the pool for hours on end without getting cold. The villa itself has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped to dine at home, which is helpful with small children. We also enjoyed breakfast out in Almancil (amazing local cafes) and dinner down on the beach most evenings. The beach is an easy walk or a super quick drive and simple parking. We also visited the water park, play park and local markets. So much to enjoy in this area. Lynn is a fabulous host. Efficient, friendly and reliable. We absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% recommend to others.
Great place, really clean, pool was lovely. Baby stuff available was a great help too for our 10 month old daughter who had a fantastic time. Property was lovely and cool with everything you needed, within close distance to plenty of restaurants, a supermarket and the beach!

Villa was well appointed, nice decor and very well organized. Lynn was lovely to deal with and extremely helpful with recommendations, and suggestions for the area. Her guest villa binder is amazing and full of useful information! The welcome pack was a nice surprise on arrival. I also really liked the fact that some essentials like olive oil, vinegar, salt etc are left for guests to use and replenish as needed. I definitely would book again.

DUNAS DOURADAS
Dunas Douradas is a safe, family-friendly luxury development situated on the Algarve coast, within the golden triangle between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. It is 25 minutes from Faro airport and within walking distance of long white sandy beaches and a numerous restaurants.
The clubhouse, about a minutes walk from the villa, is the heart of the resort with a large roman style communal pool and a children’s pool. A pool bar serves food all-day and Xenia’s Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. There is also a communal bbq area to socialize with other guests in the Resort.
The friendly staff at the Dunas Douradas Resort Reception area will help you with anything from booking tours and golf to recommending one of the many excellent restaurants in the area. There are two tennis courts in Dunas Douradas with a resident pro for lessons for all ages. The Dunas Douradas resort is guarded by 24 hour security ensuring a safe and friendly environment to relax and enjoy a peaceful holiday.
The nearby Ria Formosa National Park features beautiful lagoons and sand dunes where nature lovers will be able to watch flamingos, storks and other sea birds or simply enjoy the surroundings by exploring.
RESTAURANTS AND ENTERTAINMENT
The closest beach offers a variety of restaurants at just 10-15 minutes walk from the villa. Here you can find fresh seafood, as well as sunset cocktail events and live-music.
The nearby Quinta do Lago and Vale de Lobo plaza has a host of upmarket boutiques, restaurants and bars. Within 10 minutes drive of the property you will find over 40 restaurants catering to every taste and budget. There are three Michelin star restaurants within The Golden Triangle. In the summer months there are frequent live music events and children's entertainment on the plazas.
BEACHES
During the summer season there are lifeguards on safety patrol from early in the morning until sunset on all beaches that provide restaurant / toilet facilities. The beach concessions generally offer all the water sports facilities you would want including banana boats, canoes, pedalo’s, surf boards, kayaks, para sailing, water skiing, jet skis and doughnut water rides.
GOLF
Quinta do Lago is one of the Algarve's largest golf destinations and its courses are rated among Europe's top 25. The resort has hosted eight Portuguese Opens and continues to be the venue for national and international tournaments. It has hosted the Portuguese Open Championship eight times in addition to hundreds of national and international prestigious tournaments.
The fairways are wide and flanked at reasonable distance by the pines, heather, broom and beautiful wild flowering shrubs with several lakes in the play, providing a test to players of all ability levels. Enjoy a few rounds in the glorious Portuguese climate, with almond trees, citrus groves and fragrant breezes from the ocean adding to the atmosphere.
All courses have first class driving ranges, a golf academy, putting greens, pro-shops and clubhouses with large and informal terraces - the perfect setting to relax with friends, have a well deserved drink or a light meal after a challenging round.
Guests of this villa have access to golf green fee discounts in various nearby courses.
CHILDREN
Apart from the villa's pool, the walkable distance to the beach makes for a more relaxed holiday. No more search for parking and backseat tantrums.
Inside Vale de Lobo resort the Kangaroo Club is a first class kids club which opens late and allows mom & dad to have a relaxed dinner in a nearby restaurant, a massage on the beach or simply a few hours of reading time. The club is part of the Dona Filipa luxury five star hotel but open to outsiders. You can decide on group activities or even individual babysitting if your kids are very young.
An inexpensive mini-golf course right next to the kids club provides fun for the whole family.
Often the plaza has children's entertainment at night to keep the kids happy during long dinners by the seaside.
Dunas Douradas is approximately 20 minutes from Faro airport.
This resort is situated in the Alvarve's Golden Triangle, between the world renowned resorts of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. It can be accessed via a smaller road that comes off the Vale do Lobo-Quinta do Lago connection road, towards the beach of Garrão ("Julia’s beach").
