The villa was superb, very spacious and clean. Huge terrace and balcony with nice lake view. Lots of good restaurants around. Both caretakers Kishan and Tarabai cooked delicious home cooked meals and were very prompt. But the pool was little small for a group of more than 4-5 people. Otherwise we spent an enjoyable weekend at the villa.

We’d booked Yahavi Villa for a family reunion. Given that we were 3 generations staying together ( age group of between 7 and 78 yrs ) we wanted a place that was safe, big enough, private and had something to do for everyone. Shubhada’s place ticked all the boxes and more. A well designed living area, comfortable bedrooms, clean and big wash rooms ( all attached to the bed rooms), a nice pool, great care takers ensured we had a mighty good time. Attention to detail like having books to read, board games, a well stocked cabinet with bar essentials etc we’re a cherry on the cake. Krishna and the team took great care of us and ensured we had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was good and the meals too were nice. The view from the terrace and living room was amazing, specially during the rains. Close to York, it’s easy to locate the villa. The pin on the listing is a bit off though. Highly recommended for a good holiday with friends / family.

Location was fantastic, right next to York winery, with amazing views of the lake. Rooms were large and clean. The caretaker Kishan was very helpful. He found a pump for the bicycle so my cousin could go for a ride. Great stay overall.

Yahavi is an excellent place for those looking for a spacious villa, green and clean environment, picture perfect surroundings, abundance of nature, silence and peace. The villa is in the midst of paddy field, vegetable farms, dairy, surrounded by mountain, faces the dam. The lush greenery, view of the river, chirping of birds in the morning, butterflies, variety of trees, plants, flowers, stunning view of the starlit sky, it was nothing short of luxury, with no interference from anyone. Shubhada/her family were accessible on call/messages for answering any queries. Food was delicious. Thanks to Kishan, Tarabai for their warmth, good care and tasty Maharashtrian food. Everything was cooked fresh, including fresh fish. Its better to inform Kishan and Tarabai about food/dish preferences in advance as they plan and deliver as per expectations. To be noted, this is not a hotel, so expectations should be different. The villa is perfectly located and those who love to walk, do yoga or exercises, will love it. Its also a perfect getaway for wine loves, York, Soma, Sula are all closeby. Boat club is a must visit. If anyone needs access to wifi connection and TV channels, it is advisable to inform the owner and caretaker Kishan in advance. I will definitely come back.

Beautiful villa with lush green garden located right next to York winery. The view of the lake is incredible. The photos do not do the full villa right. Personally for me the beds were to firm. All in all a lovely experience.
