Wonderful house! Every inch of the territory is thought out and arranged! Very beautiful and unusual inside and out. All photos and information about the house correspond to the description. Very friendly hosts. Would love to come back!

Lovely stay with Kepi. The apartment is charming especially at night. Great communication and help finding a place to eat our first night there. Travel time to Volcanoes National Park was very convenient. There is some rush hour traffic on routes 130 and 11 but nothing like the mainland.

The place was absolutely beautiful and the garden was awesome, especially at night when you can see the laser projection lights agains the plants and trees. They had two other units attached and most of the other tenants were very respectful and friendly. Kepi and Jim also live on the backside of the property and they are very friendly and approachable. Kepi is an artist and did all the paintings and murals you will find in and on each of the units. It is a little outside of Hilo about 10 minutes, Volcano Nat'l Park is only 30 minutes away, Pahoa is about 15 minutes away and the Supermarket (Mahalo Market) there is so much nicer than in Hilo and other attractions are all within about an hour, unless you want to go to Kona which 1.75 hours away. Would highly recommend staying here versus staying in Hilo.

Kepi’s place is a colorful, comfortable, and beautiful oasis. It was a perfect way to spend a week, just far enough away to feel remote but close enough of a drive to reach awesome restaurants and beaches with no trouble. Highly recommended!
