类似于黄石公园内老忠实旅店般的木屋，建于上世纪三十年代（好像），干净有情调，二楼是客房、公共休憩区、公共卫生间和浴室，一楼有餐厅和酒吧。黄昏时分，人们会在门口的藤椅上聊天，附近传出欢快的音乐声，人们的交谈声，还有孩子们的嬉笑声。草地上摆满了山羊、野牛和熊的玩具，老板会支起望远镜让你观测远方山崖上的山羊。在后门的草地上发现了土拨鼠。位于黄石东北入口外银门镇，位置极其便捷，从黄石Tower-Roosevelt区到银门镇沿路风景壮阔，能看到数千头北美野牛（经常会碰见过马路的野牛，会有一大帮游客停下来拍照），还看到了秃鹰（白头海雕）、山羊和叉角羚。出银门镇再往东北就是著名的熊牙公路，沿路风景超级美！黄石东北部到熊牙公路这一段绝对值得玩，住在银门镇是性价比超高的选择(^_^)v

Très bon accueil. A indiqué un Food Truck pour dîner mais nous a ensuite gentiment offert quelques légumes et une part de délicieux gâteau. La décoration et le bâtiment sont splendides même si les installations sanitaires sont un peu vieillottes. Les nuits sont très calmes, pas de bruit malgré les planchers qui craquent. Un bel endroit que je recommande.

A great unique place to stay close to the park entrance. Awesome tiny town hospitality and charm. Like a scout lodge with a great nite life. Host was very personable and the guests all seem like old friends when hanging around the bonfire in the evening out front the general store right next door to the lodge.

Bare basics were met in the small room, shared bathrooms, in keeping bar noise to stated hours, and in communication. I was disappointed that we were put in room 7 with no explanation instead of my selected choice of room 2, when many other rooms appeared to be open. Room 7 may be the only room without a cute, western bed frame. Small difference to some, not me. It seems that changes should be cleared with guests, or, at least, room options explained. In addition, the bed sheets were either bamboo or a blend, a surprising choice for a historic lodge. Tea bags and hot water should be with coffee at the breakfast spot. Lastly, the Hemingway museum was only available for viewing during bar hours, which didn't work for me because of health issues. My husband said the historical information was great. Of course, the outstanding beauty of the location at the edge of Yellowstone National Park is the best feature. I even dreamed I heard a bear being chased away.
