Megan was a wonderful host. check-in was a breeze, she was very clear with directions for how to use the pool, the bed was super comfy and she was super responsive if we had any questions. The pool room is an absolute gem!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful space with us!

Having a complete pool house and a good-sized pool all to ourselves was wonderful. We were there for three nights. Megan let me use her kitchen to prepare a nice meal on New Year’s Eve. But all should be warned: Around 7:00, celebratory gunfire began from neighbors on BOTH sides of the house. A LOT of gunfire. Multiple rifles, one sounded like a cannon, and definitely at least one repeating rifle. Also very loud firecrackers. This went on for five hours! We tried to ignore it, but we had serious concerns that someone’s aim would go off course, as they were likely drinking. A stray bullet easily could have come through one of the many windows. We spent the last two hours huddled on the back porch of her house. My husband and I have grown up with guns and live in a rural area where gunshots are common. But this was truly scary.. Megan responded by telling us this happens on NYE and July 4, don’t let it bother you. That was disappointing. Wish we had been told prior.

When we arrived, Meagan's son met us and showed us around the property. The pool and hot tub were ready for us to use and a pitcher of ice water waiting. There was some plastic cups and other dishes to use and a microwave and minifridge. Lots of towels available for both the shower and the pool. We listened to music on the alexa and swam around the first day. The bed is very tall but very comfortable. There was a great thunder/lightning storm, so I had run to the pool building to use the bathroom during the night but had a towel to put over my head, so it wasn't a big deal. The following day Meagan showed us how to turn the pump on and off ourselves. The deep end of the pool is 8 ft so that was fun to jump in. There are some pool noodles and other floaties and toys to use. We stayed in the room, but we were also offered the tiny house room closest to the pool. Overall, it was an amazing weekend and Meagan was a great host.
