Doug's place in West Hollywood is so great that at the end of my 4 months stay I renewed for 3 more months! His attention to the smallest detail of comfort turns this from just another airbnb, into a comfy home. It's walkable to the best of West Hollywood has to offer, Melrose avenue, Beverly Blvd, Swingers Diner, Alfred's Coffee and Spartina's Italian (pizza to die for!). Under an hour to Malibu beach! The best part though, is you're living inside a flowering oasis of plants. The entire living room wall folds open to the balcony! Quiet, private, gated, secure, tucked in the middle of the best part of LA!

We had a nice month-long stay at Doug's apartment. With a plethora of plants around the courtyard, it felt like a little getaway while still being very conveniently located in LA. Doug was a very responsive host and checked in on us throughout our time there to make sure we had an enjoyable stay, even bringing over a few delicious treats he baked. Thank you, Doug!

We had an amazing month in LA, and Doug’s place was the perfect spot! Very quaint space, clean and had all the amenities we needed. Doug was communicative and we out of his way to ensure we felt at home! We would definitely stay at Doug’s place again.

I mean, 5 stars plain and simple. My partner and I had a 2 month stay (with a dog) and it was easy and comfortable from beginning to end. Well kept property, thoughtful amenities, and a priceless location. Airbnb needs more hosts like Doug – I think he might be the best one I've had since joining in 2011. If it's available, I suggest you book it!

Best location for West Hollywood! Doug’s place was clean and exactly as described. I stayed for a month and the place had everything I needed. Doug was also very responsive in any questions I had or anything I needed during the stay. Lovely place & host! The only thing that would have made it better would be a nice work station for remote workers. The chairs were just not comfortable enough for actual work hours. There is a dining table you can use in the living room, but the desk inside the bedroom is quite small if you are using more than a laptop.
