We work long hours, are tired and welcome our holidays to recharge, so there's always nervousness about picking the right place. This was the right place. There is nothing I would change. If you have a stressful time and want to relax somewhere lovely but with access to a great village, then it's here. You want to walk along the quay or see the gannets diving or paddle on the beach all without getting in the car? Then it's here. The way the house is designed is great, bright, fresh and clean, the kitchen and living spaces work well and the outside covered terrace looking over the water is ideal come rain or shine. Yes, I'm checking availability to visit again...

This is an exceptional property. The house’s location is beautiful and Gairloch is a terrific base. We used the shop at the pier, the pier cafe, the butcher and the Gale Centre. The house is so tastefully done with attention to detail and Andrew was a perfect host. We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

What a beautiful place. Ideal spot for discovering the local area. A beautiful house, with stunning views and so peaceful . Well equipped and The owner was excellent at communicating. Would definitely recommend!

Shore Cottage is such a special spot, with incredible views out to sea. The house has everything you need for a really comfortable stay, we can’t wait to return!
