Cannot speak highly enough of our stay at Nancy and Ivo’s place. Our travel plans changed and they were very accommodating to our new check in time, with excellent communication. The house is pristine, well appointed, conveniently located, and overall an extremely comfortable place to stay. Loved being so close to the park, and the river was basically just a mile down the road. Quiet and lovely! Will definitely return to this location next time we’re in Savannah. Thank you so much Nancy and Ivo!
Nancy and Ivo's place met our expectations. The hosts were very responsive to any questions. The location was quiet, beautiful, and most importantly for us was walkable to parks and restaurants. The loft itself was perfectly described in the listing and we appreciated the quality of the space and the cleanliness. Great spot and a very beautiful city to visit. Thank you Nancy and Ivo.
Since plane arrived at 12:30 pm, Nancy gave us recommendations for nice restaurants close that were walkable with luggage, then let us know they would be ready for us a little earlier which was great because we got done with brunch and walked when they were ready. Host greeted us. Asked if we needed anything. And said she would be available if anything arose. Dog barking nearby was only thing that disturbed me; otherwise, nice. Also, not good for people with mobility/balance issues.
Loved our weekend stay at Nancy and Ivo’s place! This location was super walkable to all of historical Savannah and we enjoyed walking everywhere and not using the car once. We stayed with my parents so the loft situation worked out great and loved that the upstairs had its own bathroom. Would recommend or stay here again in future visits!

Hello! We are thrilled you are considering allowing us to host you. We love traveling ourselves - experiencing different cultures and meeting new people are always such a thrill. We also truly love hosting people in our wonderful city - sharing it's beauty and charm is such an honor. Whenever we travel, one of our favorite things is to explore the local scene - discover a little bit of what it might be like to live, work and play in that place. We love sharing our favorite restaurants, bars and activities with our guests. The Maian II is in a fantastic location within walking distance of downtown and close to many local places - local health food market, cafe, farmer's market on Saturday, and Forsyth Park where many Savannahians walk or run (including us!). We think you will really get a sense of what life in our wonderful city is like. We love good food and drink and are known in The Hood (we live a block from The Maian II!) for our gatherings. We love hosting get-to-gethers and find great satisfaction in always offering our friends a fun, relaxed, and memorable experience. We take that same approach to hosting. Whether you are here to take in all the historical sights, experience the new food scene that has hit Savannah, or simply have a week of Southern Comfort, we are happy to help you find exactly what suits. We want you to feel at home in our home, experience excellent food, drink, and ambiance and leave feeling relaxed and ready to return.
