Excellent location and a great little house with lots of space! Everything was great when it came to the house and the host was very quick to respond when we had questions. One small note that probably won’t matter to most people, but one of the bedrooms downstairs (single bed) has no outlets and it gets quite cold (when we were there). The other rooms have space heaters but without an outlet in that room, it gets very cold. Otherwise, everything else was excellent!

Jennifer's place is a lovely, warm and spacious place to stay in Escalante. Plenty of space to spread out, lots of beds and warm blankets. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. There were fresh eggs and condiments in the fridge and cabinets. The washer and dryer were a VERY welcome addition given our dirty hiking adventures. Waking up to the sounds of cows and chickens was wonderful. The space heaters in the basement bedroom was much appreciated. We felt right at home!

We really liked the place. Couple of things that stood out to us are, great hospitality such as, stocking the fridge with farm fresh eggs, fireplace ready for starting, overall a really nice place. The host was friendly and extremely responsive, she quickly fixed an issue that popped up on the first night. A small negative was that the some of the beds are in the basement (I don't recall if this was clear from the description). Overall, I would recommend it and happily stay again.
