We had a wonderful stay in Lize's beautiful home! Lize's attention to detail made our stay extra special. Beautiful flowers, coffee, chocolates, rusks, water bottles next to the bed, loads of spices in an extremely well equipped kitchen. Then there is a fabulous barbeque area, wonderful pool and gorgeous mountain views. The house is spacious and very comfortable. Hermanus town centre is a short drive away. We hope to return next year again!
This house is well equipped, well located and in nice surrounds. It has a beautiful pool which is great when the beach is windy. Lize left us some nice small touches which were much appreciated - fresh coffee,bottled water and some rusks on arrival. She communicated with us in advance and was in contact while we were there, even though she was on holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped and the patio great for a braai. The pool table is a great addition, and the Wi-Fi was good. Overall, it is a lovely home in a nice area. There are a few small touch ups (marks on the wall, cracked skirting) needed that are easily doable. We really enjoyed the space.
A really beautiful home in a perfect location, elegantly furnished and generously equipped. Ideal for a family holiday combining luxurious accommodation with a relaxed feel. Very highly recommended!
What a fantastic week we had! Lovely modern house with all you need to have a relaxed family holiday. We loved the braai & fire pit area as well as enjoying a movie night in the “cinema” room. We were 2 families with 2 kids each, and everyone had a great stay. Lize was an attentive host with good communication.
Lize is a superior host, always putting her guests interests first! It is a lovely home and garden, true to the online offering. We have stayed twice already and will surely return in the near future!

My favourite part of visiting a new city is discovering what the locals love doing and eating and finding their favourite spots... like finding the hidden gem of a cave apartment in Santorini and being served the most exquisite greek yoghurt on the veranda overlooking endless turquoise water. Having dinner on the floor in bedouin style tents while diving in Dahab and cycling through Madagascar to find Lemurs (and eventually the love of my life...). I love travelling, but mostly the people I meet and the raw beauty of nature I discover off the beaten track. We now live in one of the most beautiful towns in the world (really!) and I only discovered it when I moved here. I hope you discover it too - I have some tips!- so that your stay in Hermanus would be truly unforgettable and that you would long to return to this place of 'champagne air'.
