他们家是一个很漂亮的农庄，第一眼看见房间的时候，以为设备有点旧，但请放心，他们是新装修新家具，只是设计了做旧的效果，让这个房子看起来更有历史感。老板是一个来过中国很多次的罗马人，很能侃，还会不少中文，他们家里不但有筷子和中国面条，甚至有龙井和乌龙茶。冬天在客厅里靠着壁炉聊天是非常好的体验，客厅里的落地玻璃床在早晨可以看到很好的田园日出。

I had the most beautiful long weekend with my beloved ones at the Le Canterie. Thanks to Lucia and Erminio, we could celebrate my birthday and could enjoy their hospitality. We had our privacy and the food as well as the wine were perfect! We would totally stay there another weekend! Thank you again for making this weekend wonderful for everybody!

We have just returned from a fabulous week spent at Le Canterie Agriturismo in the village of Radicondoli, Tuscany. We were three families with a party size of 12 and ages ranging from 4 upwards. Le Canterie is a wonderful place in a fantastic position with superb views of the countryside. The only sound in the day is nature and the reassuring bells from the Church in Radicondoli. Our wonderful hosts were Lucia and Erminio who spoke English and were extremely friendly. The accommodation was very well appointed and bathrooms in all were superb. The bedrooms are comfortable and towels, sheets and fans all provided. The Kitchenette area contained a fridge, small hobb and pots and pans were in all the apartments if you wish to cook, but my advice would be to accept the hospitality of Lucia and Erminio and savour their fantastic cooking. There is a large stage area where parties can be hosted. Erminio provided us with a BBQ on request where we cooked for ourselves one night. The swimming pool coped well with 6 demanding children and proved a superb social spot, while we had breakfast both outside in a nice shaded area and inside the communial area. In addition to the breakfast room there is lovely comfortable communal sitting area inside that overlooks the valley but we only used it on the final night, preferring to stay outside for the remainder of the week. The focus has to be the superb catering. Breakfasts were wonderful with fresh pastries, yogurts, cereal, coffee, tea and home-made jams. We had the most delightful smoked mozzarella and tomatoes for lunch one day and were spoilt by superb wine and food on a number of evenings. Dinner was a three / four course event with a starter, pasta dish, main course and if requested a pudding. All made fresh from local ingredients (most of which grown by Lucia and Erminio). The food we had was first class and we were never left hungry. Each course of each meal was prepared and served with pride and accompanied by an education from Erminio. Olive oil pressed from their own olive trees, aubergines harvested in full sight in the morning, tomatoes and basil picked from the gardens. All superb. We ventured into Radicondoli twice, a charming village with a number of good restaurants, cafes and a small supermarket. There was a very interesting art gallery there too. Day trips to Pomarance and Volterra were all within 50 mins drive time and we enjoyed both on different days during our trip. We would highly recommend a stay at Radicondoli. On a side note we saw in an earlier review that there was some criticism of the track leading to the Villa. This was not our experience. The track is a rural gravel track that is common in the area. Our party had three normal cars and none experienced any problems so please don’t be deterred. The location is Lat 43.2663. Long 11.0505.

The place is amazing. We were 13 family members celebrating my birthday and we had a great time. Lucia and Erminio are very good hosts. The views are beautiful, we travelled to a few places and we also enjoyed the swimming pool, specially the children. We had a few meals cooked by Erminio and his food beats up any restaurants in the area. I highly recommend the place!!

Beautiful scenery and outstanding hospitality. This place is amazing and the hosts went out of their way to make all of our guests have a true tuscan experience. Ciao!
