Appartement conforme aux photos, un peu plus grand que ce à quoi on s'attendait donc bonne surprise. L'overground se trouve à 1min à pied ce qui est très pratique. L'appartement était propre, avec beaucoup d'équipement (four, micro ondes, lave linge à partager avec d'autres locataires de l'immeuble mais on a jamais eu de soucis,...). Il est fonctionnel et pratique. Deux grands lits doubles et un lit une place en mezzanine. Appartement idéal si vous restez plus d'un mois à Londres. Nous sommes restées 6 semaines et nous avons adoré. Pour ce qui est du quartier, il est genial. Beaucoup de bars autour pour sortir le soir, balades le long du canal, Victoria Park est à 5 Minutes. Le centre commercial Westfield est à 15 Minutes. Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement. Russell est un hôte très accueillant et disponible pour toutes les questions que nous avions tout au long de notre séjour!

Location is perfect! We went to see a show near by and it was a life saver! The flat is super artistic and lovely. Highly recommend :)

Stayed for 1 month and had a great time. Reservation and Check-in: Super easy and great communication with Russell. He was kind enough to meet us at the Overground station and walk us back to the apartment after 9pm. This is pretty essential the first time because I'm not sure we would have found the apartment on our own. It is the definition of "unmarked" which honestly only makes the place more likable. The space: It is as advertised and the pictures are accurate. The larger of the three beds isn't in an enclosed bedroom and you will find most of the space is closer to an open loft than a traditional apartment. For example, the bathroom has four walls, but one of them is nothing more than a wooden partition with part of the ceiling open to the main room. The second main room is where the kitchen, eating area, TV, couch, and the other two beds are. To start, this area functions as one big room essentially with the kitchen at one end and the bunk beds at the other end. The area has everything you need and Russell goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable upon arrival. Pros: Having a washer and dryer are definitely bonuses. The washer is shared with the other residents on the floor, but we never had an issue sharing it. The dryer is just for the rental and a huge time saver if you are trying to get out and see the area. Cons: The hot water takes forever to get to the kitchen sink. So any attempts to wash the dishes quickly are thwarted. The toilet and shower both use a vacuum pump system. While both work without any issue, the pump can be loud if others are trying to sleep. It sometimes goes off even if you haven't flushed. The neighborhood: Hackney Wick is great. If you get a chance, download the app Detour and take the audio tour. It is a great way to explore some of the street art and learn about the area. The Overground is maybe 4 minutes walk away and a perfect way to get into the city. It is about 5 stops to reach the Victoria line than will take you wherever you want to go. The closest grocery store got bad reviews online, so we always went a few minutes further to the store near the Pearl. It was small, the staff was kind, and they have a great selection of organic foods. Or you can take a turn and go over the bridge towards the Queen Victoria Olympic park. Not only is the London Stadium and aquatics center about 15 minutes walk, but there is a huge mall also about 15 minutes walk away. Or 7 minutes away via the 339 Bus that stops right outside the apartment. You might not think you have come to visit a mall in London, but it does come in extremely handy...

We loved the space! Exactly as described and photos. The Olympic Park and stadium very close. Watching the World Championships was so close. Brilliant shopping centre across the Park, close to great local cafe and pizza place. The canal is close by again, great food & drink places. Thoroughly recommend!!
