Pleasant, secluded and off grid. The description of this cabin and its surroundings could be updated to reflect just how much attention to detail and the number of helpful amenities there are available here. The cabin is LARGER than described and has everything you need for an extended stay. The beds are comfortable and do have blankets and pillows, although the host suggests bringing your own. There is plenty of firewood and water, plus the solar lights and ice box charge themselves. The gas lights are simple to operate and the old stove for cooking is a plus. The Woodstove heats the cabin quickly, and almost without effort. I would have added to the description that local areas of interest, from Mass MoCa (20 minutes away, The Clark (30 minutes away), Readsboro General Store (15 minutes), Wilmington VT (35 minutes away) to local ski areas are easily accessed and nearby. Cell service is just ok, depending on your carrier

Wonderful cozy cabin with everything you need. It was amazing to find jack and Donna’s place, we will definitely be back!

Our second time at Jack & Donnas place - so gorgeous, so peaceful. Our dogs have a great time exploring the property and we get to unwind in the peaceful, beautiful mountains.

Nice off grid cabin and good location for us riding the NEBDR. Could have used a little more wood for the wood stove but overall great stay.

We enjoyed our stay at J & D's off-the-grid cabin. The wood stove was a real plus. Donna was very responsive to our messages. We hope to return next year.
