What a beautiful, relaxing, secluded home and location. Lovely views from the deck! Wonderful for stargazing at night. The house was very well equipped and comfortable. Mary was a wonderful host and extremely easy to communicate with. A perfect place to enjoy Downeast Maine.

If you want a true Maine experience, this is the place to stay. The house surroundings, and beach were absolutely wonderful. Lots of wildlife to see. Stunning views. Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of ocean waves.

I enjoyed sitting on the deck with a beer, staring at the islands in the bay. For a closer look, I'd follow the path down to the beach and set up a camping chair on the rocks to watch the waves crash into the rocky shore. In the early evening, seals pop their heads out of water just offshore. The location is perfect...Downeast Maine has none of the traffic and crowds of Bar Harbor or Midcoast, but is every bit as scenic. A truly special place and well equipped for everything you need to enjoy yourself. I certainly did.

This is an amazing venue for someone who wants to get away and have a peaceful and quiet time with no one and no noise to disturb the refreshing and relaxing view and sound of the ocean. The walk down the short path to the water's edge is well worth the time.
