The space was perfect in every way for our family! we loved going down to the rocks and playing in the backyard. Kitchen was well stocked and Mary was very helpful!

This place is beautiful-don’t hesitate to book! Waking up to the breathtaking view of the ocean was wonderful and having access to a lengthy reappearing and disappearing sandbar was so fun. There is also access to a nice sandy beach that I wish we had spent more time at. The house comes well stocked with everything you might need. Mary is very thoughtful of anything that might come in handy, including a very informative binder of all local activities. If you love nature and hiking then there is so much to do in the area. The house was also very peaceful and quiet with plenty of beds. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed here and once again it was wonderful! The location is perfectly situated on the coast overlooking the gorgeous Bold Coast of Maine. The cottage is convenient to dining and grocery options in Machias and approximately 45 minutes outside of Bar Harbor. Mary’s cottage is one of our family’s favorite places to stay!

Our recent stay was just perfect! I can hardly imagine a more lovely, relaxing place to vacation. The cottage is immaculate and well-maintained, with everything you need to feel right at home. The location is also ideal as a jumping off place for exploration of the coast, from Acadia to parts further Downeast.
