&nbsp; Applewood West This home is located at the South end of Wallowa Lake and is just a one-block walk to the resort activities like the Wallowa Lake Tramway or the Wallowa Lake Marina. The large outside area offers two different decks for your family to use with a 'thru the trees' view of Wallowa Lake. And with the addition of a private hot tub, you can settle into your vacation with ease. Also available is a nicely landscaped sitting area where you can relax and enjoy your days surrounded by beautiful flowers and landscaping. The end of the road location of this home is one of the favorite features we hear from the loyal lovers of this home. Close enough to walk to the resort side activities but private enough to feel away from it all. The open floor plan of this home keeps your family together. The large kitchen with a prep bar makes your meal prep and dinner an experience. The large dining room table looks out onto the wraparound deck and a small view of Wallowa Lake through the trees. The inviting living area offers free WiFi, a smart TV, and a propane fireplace. The main bedroom has a comfortable bed and a beautiful primary bathroom with a jetted tub and a large tiled walk-in shower. Enjoy your first cup of coffee from a beautiful office off the primary bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and massive windows that bring in the morning light. The office makes the perfect place to check your emails, write your life story, or just enjoy a book. Games, books, and puzzles are just a few things your kids will enjoy in one of the guest bedrooms. <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> Seasonal BBQs are available from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. BBQs are propane, and tanks are provided. No fires or firepits are ever allowed due to the heavily timbered area and county restrictions, but the propane fireplace is allowed. We always recommend 4x4, chains, or studded tires to get to our winter open houses. Some renters have better traction tires and can access the homes without them, but we don't recommend it. Also, the weather changes rapidly in this mountain location. We always suggest preparing for the worst. Also, many Les Schwab Tire Centers can purchase tire chains; if you don't use them, they will take them on return. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
