Michael’s place was a delight from beginning to end. It was the perfect place for our family to gather and catch up on each other’s lives over the holiday. Inside and outside were cozy, clean, inviting and full of comfortable furniture, cooking necessities and wonderful fireplaces. The outside firepit surrounded by patio furniture was an ideal place to sit and chat. A trampoline for the kids let them release energy and kept them happy …it was an unexpected treat. Michael also generously left their holiday tree up for us and provided a huge box of Legos for my youngest grandchild. The location near Grand Lake had many restaurants and a gorgeous movie theatre. We could not have asked for a better place or nicer hosts. Hoping to make this a tradition. Thank you so much!

My family and I had a wonderful time at Michael’s place. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and peaceful! The pool and cabana was definitely one of my favorite areas of the house. We had everything we needed in the kitchen plus we were welcome to use any of the extra food, seasonings etc. The bathrooms were fully stocked and clean. The street can be a bit busy at times, but parking was never an issue. We had plenty of space and felt right at home. I would definitely book Michael’s place again the next time we come out to visit, he was very responsive and flexible with any requests we had.

My family of five needed a place to stay for some time while our home was having work done. Michael's house was perfect! Even though it was only a half mile away from our home, we truly felt like we were a million miles away! The pool and cabana were the perfect places for the kids to hang out, to relax and read a book, or even use as a virtual office! Very comfortable beds, a well organized kitchen, and lots of room for us all to spread out.

Fantastic quiet place with much to enjoy! Street parking always available. Few steps up to house with beautiful garden/flowers in front and back. Pool was clean/warm and plenty of space. Piano/books to enjoy! Lots of cooking utensils, appliances, dishes, toaster oven, coffee pot, hot pot, and blender. Enjoyed full dining table inside and out as well as smaller one in kitchen nook. WiFi strong and fast. Beautiful outside patio with grill as well as covered cabana with cushioned couch/chairs and hammock. Loved having 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with our group of 7. Washer and dryer made it extra nice as this was middle of trip. Michael was most helpful, kind, and checked in often. Answered all of our questions. Definitely a great place away from the hustle but close enough to enjoy SF. Beautiful place. Totally enjoyed our stay.

Michael's location is perfect if you have a wedding or other event in Piedmont, Berkely, Oakland, or San Francisco. My son and his daughter loved the pool;. They also ran the five mile loop from Michael's location around Lake Merritt and back. The local shops are great, including Trader Joe's and Starbucks! Berkely and wine country are not far away. Highly recommend this location. We toured San Franscisco's Fisherman's Wharff on Sunday Morning...little traffic and little crowds. It is a lovely location to relax with family and friends!
