Beautiful space, very cozy and quiet

This was probably in my top 2 Airbnb's of all time. The hosts are clearly thoughtful, kind and responsive. The suite was perfect for my needs - a place to stretch out and work on my laptop yet have the TV going in the background/zone out time. The home and backyard were beautiful, with the prettiest ferns I've ever seen by the deck. I loved hearing the sounds of a family going about their lives. The family keeps normal hours as they note and it was a perfect fit for mine. The shower is what dreams are made of with that kind of water pressure! I was able to eat healthy courtesy of the mini fridge, kettle, etc. 10/10 would stay again!

A spacious apartment, super clean, and perfectly located to walk to all the brewpubs in Ballard. Paola and Eddy were very responsive. You can hear people walking above, but it was never late at night and it wasn't a problem for us.

Most importantly, the place was very clean and the hosts were very responsive. I took a star off, because the listing did not make it clear that you will only have a folding screen separating you from the portion of the basement that the family uses. The hosts did not come down to the basement while we were there, but if I had been traveling alone I would not have stayed there. There is a separate entrance with a lock to get in and out of the basement, but once you get in, there is only a flimsy screen separating the airbnb from the hosts. The bed was also very uncomfortable. It was a very thin IKEA mattress-- really more of a pad-- with no box spring. The place is a great deal in a great neighborhood, if you are okay with these details.

This was a great find. It’s located on a quiet residential street within walking distance of some good places to eat. We didn’t have a car and were pleased to discover an express bus route to downtown about a block away. We didn’t meet our hosts but communication was great, and checking in and out was easy.
