After our first night we all woke up with bed bug bites. Struggled to get hold of Juan. He told us he’d look in to it… I had to chase him over and over again. He tried to say it was mosquitos…. Refused to engage with any compromise over a refund. Refused to guarantee that he would fumigate before further guests. We had to go through Airbnb who were brilliant.

This was an amazing place to stay at, in the beautiful town of Olinda. We absolutely loved it, so quiet and idyllic. And very close to wilderness. The suite itself was also wonderful. Clean, cosy, comfortable, and with rustic charm - congruent with the surrounding environment. We saw deer in the backyard too! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful retreat close to nature. And we appreciated how responsive the hosts were, so quick to offer advice and assistance.

We loved our stay in Olinda and Juan was extremely helpful and considerate. It was beautiful, quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend!
