This hostel is a great choice if you want a cheap and no-frills stay in Bend! This was my first time staying in a private room at a hostel (I always stay in shared rooms), so that was a nice experience for me and my partner, as we had a good amount of privacy. The free beer at check-in was rad, and the hostel vibe was welcoming and relaxed. We were able to walk to downtown and the riverside super quickly, and it was awesome staying in a historic house. I will say, though, that the washup areas (showers and sinks) were pretty gnarly—even for a hostel—but if you’re staying at a hostel you should be prepared for that anyway (I will note that this was my first time staying in a US hostel—I’ve only stayed in hostels abroad—so maybe US hostels just aren’t as clean?). All in all, though, I would definitely come back for a quick stay!

This is the second time I’ve stayed here and honestly the community of staff are so inviting and genuinely great people. There was a great little Christmas party and everyone was happy and having a great time! Will continuously recommend this space, great location price and atmosphere

I loved Bunk & Brew. So fun! Really unique and welcoming atmosphere. Enjoyed having people around to talk to. Great suggestions from the folks staying there. Bend itself is such a cute downtown. The Lemon Tree brunch was to die for!!! ☺️
