Refurbished in 2022, Treveddoe offers the perfect luxury rural escape all year round. Sleeping 11, with 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite and 2 family bathrooms, spacious kitchen diner, living room, snug, three wood burning stoves, and large garden with wood-fired hot tub. Ancient woodlands, rolling pastures, and natural river dipping pool offer peace, wild nature and simple pleasures. Sleeping 11, there are 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite and 2 family bathrooms, spacious kitchen diner, living room, snug, three wood burning stoves, and large garden with wood-fired hot tub. New for 2024, The Big Barn will be open to guests to enjoy. With a wood-burning stove, books, sofas, table tennis, and lots of space it is a gorgeous additional place to relax, read, play games, or practice your daily yoga. Quintessential Cornish charm flows throughout Treveddoe farmhouse. Fully refurbished in 2022, Treveddoe has pockets of original features and character combined with a fresh, contemporary feel offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay. A true escape from the busy hustle-bustle of everyday life, our native-breed Belted Galloway and North Devon cattle mob grazed on our regenerative farm far outnumber people here. The farmhouse sits beside our converted barn, The Barley Crush barn which is available to book with the farmhouse for bookings up to 16 people, should you wish to book for a big group. The Big Barn is open to guests to enjoy from 2024, with a wood burning stove, sofas, ping pong table. A perfect space to practice yoga, play family games or simply read a book in front of the fire. GROUND FLOOR Bootroom with toilet, spacious kitchen-diner, lounge, snug, outside terrace As you enter the farmhouse through the cloakroom / bootroom, you are welcomed by Cornish charm almost immediately via the exposed Cornish stone wall, oak beams and restored slate flooring. Here there is ample storage to hang coats and store wellies and shoes following walks and rambles across the land, ancient oaks and moorland. Dog friendly too, there is one dog bed and bowl awaiting furry friends so no need to remember yours, and a toilet with hand basin. A light, spacious open-plan kitchen dining area enjoys exquisite views across the valley. Fit with marble worktops and central island, this space is brilliant for many a social occasion. The brand-new kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking and baking utensils you should need, including a dualit kettle, nespresso coffee machine with a Smeg milk frother, toaster, microwave and 2 dishwashers allowing for minimal washing up. A larder cupboard under the stairs is where all your groceries can be stored and a large American style double fridge freezer with an inbuilt water and ice machine means you have plenty of space to cater for your stay. We have an extra drinks/spill over fridge in the laundry room. Some Cornish goodies will be awaiting your arrival for you to enjoy during your stay, including milk, tea, coffee and a Cornish Cream Tea. The dining area has an impressive table crafted by a local carpenter, using wood from the original farmhouse. Comfortably sitting 12, it’s perfect for fun feasting moments to be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. Home to the first of three wood-burners, those staying in the cooler months can enjoy lazy Sunday lunches with the fire crackling in the background, or with two leather armchairs situated either side of the fire, reside with a drink of choice, a book, and enjoy the breath-taking view at your leisure. There are plenty of spaces in the house to sit and read, snooze or sip a cocktail. Please Note: Wood-burners - fire-wood sourced from the farm will be stocked for all the fires and hot tub during your stay. The sitting room oozes indulgent comfort. Fitted with a wood-burner, this room has been designed for special, relaxed group and individual moments. Whether it's playing cards, losing yourself in literature, admiring the contemporary art hand painted by the owners’ mother, Jenny, or simply enjoying views across the valley - this space allows you to recharge and reset in your own way. A snug area sits behind, the children's haven if you like with mustard beanbags, fit with a 55inch Smart TV too. FIRST FLOOR Three double/twin bedrooms - please note all bedrooms have usb charging points by the beds Two ensuite one stand-alone bathrooms – please note all bathrooms have toothbrush charging points On the first floor is the master bedroom with an impressive 4 poster king size bed, a stunning free-standing bath where you can enjoy the view across the valley sipping on a tipple of choice, plus an en-suite shower room with sensory lighting. The Valley bedroom can be made up with either a super kingsize bed or 2 singles and has an en-suite shower room with a freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers. You will enjoy views across the farm and valley into the ancient oak woodland. The Orchard room caters for both super king or 2 single occupancy too, enjoying wonderful views of the orchard, and has a wardrobe and dressing table. A spacious family bathroom over the landing looks out to the orchard, fitted with a bath, shower, and sensory lighting. SECOND FLOOR The second floor is where you will find our tree-top attic room. Decorated with Cole and Son silver birch wallpaper you will be sleeping in the stars here. The attic room can be made up with 5 single beds or one super king double with 3 SINGLE BEDS, it has 2 chest of drawers and the most spectacular viewpoint from the house across the farm. Over the landing is the study with a drop-down desk and lamp should you need to find a quiet space to work during your stay, plus a roll out futon. The family bathroom has a walk in shower, bath and double sink, plus a white chest of drawers for added storage. OUTSIDE The terrace leads straight from the kitchen/dining area and is fit with garden furniture of course, outstanding, undisturbed views. A favourite spot for lazy breakfasts, morning coffee, alfresco lunches and sundowners to kick off the evening. A large flat lawn surrounds the farmhouse providing hours of entertainment for children. Perfect for garden games, or for those fond of Yoga and pilates, spots don’t get much better than this especially with sounds of the River Bedalder bustles in the distance. A stone wall feature to the side of the garden opens into the Orchard that surrounds the farmhouse, and leads down to the old mine building, leading to the river, woodland and beyond. Enjoy the wood-fired hot tub throughout your stay, brilliant during the day, but even better in the evening where you can take full advantage of being present in a dark sky environment. Star gaze to your hearts content. An outdoor heated shower is situated at the back entrance of the house for post river and beach swims with a drying rack for wetsuits. A spacious driveway allows for 4 cars to park comfortably, also fit with an Electric car charging point (Zappi from myenergi). There is an outbuilding 2m from the house fit with 2 washing machines and a tumble dryer. The Big Barn New for 2024, guests can enjoy this flexible space to add to their memories at Treveddoe Farm. Enjoy daily yoga practice, table tennis, family moments around the fire or alone moments with a book from our library of literature collected over the years. Please note the Big Barn is accessible to guests of both Treveddoe Farmhouse and The Barley Crush Barn. A key for the barn is in the kitchen, please make sure you lock when you have finished using the space. Six Inches Of Soil - Treveddoe Farm is one of three featured in the six inches of soil documentary, chatting with first year of our regenerative farming model. Launched in January 2024. May 2024 - Some very exciting events happening near to the farm. SALTLINES, Lostwithiel Festival, Fowey Festival Of Arts, Bonsai Bonanza and lots more!

Outstanding week at Treveddoe Farm. The house is lush. Saw the herd of Belted Galloways on the farm plus Highland cattle on the Moor. Enjoyed eating out at Coombeshead, The Pig at Harlyn plus Four Boys in Rock.

Our stay was amazing. The house was absolutely spotless. Check in was easy and the house had everything you needed…and more! The welcome hamper and fresh flowers were a lovely touch too. Claudia was responsive to messages and very helpful with answering any questions we had. Our children got to see the tractors working one night and everyone was very friendly and welcoming with allowing them to do so. The house is pretty remote but we knew this area already so knew it would be a drive to get anywhere. However, I think the surroundings make it worth it. If you want to order meat do so early on as unfortunately we missed out this time. We can’t wait to return, all 9 of us had a fantastic time! Next time we will bring the dogs too!

We didn’t have the best weather during our 10-day stay, but Claudi’s place meant our holiday was still perfect. The house and garden is gorgeous (kitchen well equipped), there’s loads to explore on the farm, the kids loved visiting Rhubarb and we all enjoyed the hot tub. Further afield you’re well-placed to visit the north and south coasts - and chase the best weather. Highly recommend Fowey and Padstow. Harlyn and Trevose beaches were favourites for body boarding - and I liked Polkerris for a swim. Claudi was super helpful throughout - and we ordered some beef from the farm which was delicious.

Treveddoe Farmhouse is in the heart of Bodmin Moor (AONB), brilliantly positioned for exploring and enjoying the rural Cornish countryside. An array of adventure awaits from the doorstep, whether its exploring the farmland, strolls through the ancient oak woodland, cycles across the moorland, or exhilarating wild swims in the River Bedalder - this place is truly a nature filled wilderness.
Nothing is too distant from Treveddoe - The most local pub is in the village of St Neot, where you'll find the very friendly pub, The London Inn - a 10 minute drive, or an enjoyable cycle or walk. Other close by attractions include Colliford Lake, the infamous Eden Project is only 20 minutes away, as is the delightful Duchy of Cornwall Nursery and cafe near Lostwithiel.
If the coast is calling, Treveddoe Farm is conveniently placed approximately 30-40 minutes from both the South and North Coast. Watergate Bay is 30 minutes, Rock, Polzeath and Padstow are 40 minutes, and Fowey and other destinations on the South Coast are approximately 30 minutes from the farm.
Supermarkets are located in Bodmin, 15 - 20 minutes away from the farm, Lostwithiel is a lovely small town to walk around, with butchers, cafes and small CO OP. Wadebridge is handy if you're heading towards the north coast, 30 minutes from the farm with supermarkets, butchers, and local shops.

出行信息

A car is a must! Although there is plentiful walking, meandering to do in the meadows, bathing in the ancient oaks and river pools, we are a 15 minute drive from local towns Bodmin and Lostwithiel.
There is some great cycling in the area, although rather hilly. You can hire bikes in local towns, but if you would like to explore the area by bicycle, we would recommend bringing your own.
