Debbie was a wonderful host, and the setting was bucolic! The Pond House and Koi Pond was especially enjoyable.

The pond house was one of the prettiest airbnbs we’ve stayed in, we wish we had longer than just a weekend! We were a group of 4 adults and one toddler, so the en-suite bathrooms were such a lovely feature for the group! My three year old was so excited to run to the pond house and feed the fishes every day, and all the adults loved relaxing on the deck (great for morning yoga) and watching the water. The area is beautiful and peaceful, and only a few miles from little villages and attractions ( don’t miss the Jack Shaiman gallery or Art Omi). On our last night there was a huge downpour, and right after we were treated to cool weather and an amazing rainbow over the pond. We definitely recommend this Airbnb!

I cannot say enough great things about Debbie’s place. If you know Columbia County and love it, this is the place to stay. Debbie and Michael are friendly, kind and responsive hosts, and their property is magical. The experience felt like a traditional bed and breakfast with lots of privacy. They make sure you are equipped with all of the breakfast essentials bought from local farms and bakeries. You have the entire guest house to yourself as well as use of the beautiful cottage and deck space at the pond. Two of the bedrooms overlook the pond, and they encouraged us to help ourselves to fresh produce from the garden. They even have walking trials on the property! Most of all, we were so pleased to chat with them. They are great conversationalists and they know and love the area well.

Debbie and Mike were lovely hosts! They welcomed us on our arrival and gave us advice on where to go for hikes, dinner or grocery shopping in the area, and had even left some food for our breakfast the next morning. Their place is perfectly decorated and clean. We had a very relaxing time there, and our kids especially enjoyed the beautiful huge lawn garden where they could play sports as well as the cute little pond with all its frogs and fishes, as well as a canoe and a paddle boat! We hope to be be back sometime soon!
